How to Contact an Inmate in Charlotte County Jail

The Charlotte County Jail website provides a way to search for an inmate by their Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, or Booking Number. There is also a link to contact the jail if you are not able to find the inmate you are looking for.

Find the inmate search page

The first step to contact an inmate in Charlotte County Jail is to find the inmate search page on the Charlotte County Sheriff’s website. The inmate search page allows you to search for an inmate by their first and last name, or by their jail ID number. Once you have found the inmate you are looking for, click on their name to view their profile.

Enter the inmate’s name and booking number

The easiest way to locate an inmate is to visit the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office website and use their search feature. You will need the inmate’s full name and booking number. If you do not have this information, you can still search by partial name or other methods.

You can also call the jail at 941-639-2100 and ask for assistance in locating an inmate.

Click on the inmate’s name

Once you have found the inmate you are looking for, click on their name to learn more about them. This will take you to their profile page, which will provide you with their booking number, mugshot, charges, and bond information. From there, you can click on the ‘Contact’ button to start a conversation with them.

The Charlotte County Jail does not have an automated system for contacting inmates. You must call the jail directly at 844-935-1118 and follow the prompts to reach a jail operator.

Jail operators will be able to help you with general questions about the jail, but will not be able to give you specific information about inmates or their cases. If you need specific information about an inmate or their case, you will need to contact the inmate’s attorney or the State Attorney’s Office.
